| I think I saw one today or a terrapin not sure as thought at first it was a tortoise at the edge of the canal near Thurnham going towards Glasson dock and when I went to touch it to see if it was real it submerged itself in the water. |

| Thursday, 1st May 2025. Saw the turtle today in canal near Bolton-le-Sands, Carnforth. Have a picture if I can upload it. Thought I was seeing things for a moment. |
